EVALUATING TO IMPROVE THE STUDENTS’ LEARNING involves using instruments of direct and systematic observation. The observation, the register and the analysis of students’ attitudes and behaviours allow the teacher to assess the students’ self-confidence, initiative or perseverance degree while they do their tasks. Therefore, the teacher improves the knowledge he/she has of his/her students, which allows him/her to (re)formulate strategies to lead to significant learning (Pensar avaliação, melhorar a aprendizagem. Lisboa: IIE, 1994).
In this context, the application asMinhasTurmas (myClasses) aims to help teachers to work with students in order to develop some competencies, namely autonomy, creativity, responsibility, among others.
The asMinhasTurmas (myClasses) application was designed to provide the teacher a simple, an intuitive and, above all, an effective use in improving the teaching and learning process.
